Welcome to the start of an exciting new Recreation (Rec C) hockey season! This season promises to be filled with fun, teamwork, and the chance to grow both on and off the ice. To all the parents and volunteers, thank you in advance for your support - the Rec C program could not exist with you all.
2024/2025 Recreation Update U15 & U18
Recreation U15 (C)
Please note that the U15 Recreation (C) Team List has been finalized.
There will be a pre-season practice this coming Saturday, Oct 12th at 4-5pm at the Lions Rink
Good luck to the Avalanche this upcoming season.
Recreation U18 (C)
U18(C) Pre-Season Sessions will be Monday, October 14 and Wednesday October 16th and 9pm-10pm Lions Rink for all registered recreation and any released competitive players

Recreation U11 (C) & U13 (C)
In preparation for the upcoming season, please review the Recreation groupings when they are sent out, and email Suzanne Keith at

• You wish to add your player to the recreation waitlist
• You have interest to volunteer at the recreation level as a coach, asst coach, team manager and/or pre-season only (name, email, phone number and area you wish to volunteer

This season, our primary goal is to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment where players can grow both their hockey skills and personal development. We will focus on building strong foundational abilities, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship, ensuring players enjoy the game while improving at their own pace. Our emphasis on inclusivity guarantees that every player, regardless of skill level, feels valued and encouraged. Let’s make 2024/25 a season to remember!
