Chebucto Development

Here we are, our last weekend without hockey!

I am excited to get back and see all the players on the ice again. The response to our preseason development has been fantastic, and it will provide a strong foundation for our players to start the season. To clarify any misconceptions that may be out there, no player is being evaluated, scored or judged on any on ice performance prior to October 1st. All evaluations for team placements will take place during the official tryout process.

As we prepare for our first week on ice, I want to remind everyone that at this time, the only people allowed in the rink are those on ice, the dressing room attendants, and the safety- check in person. These volunteers can remain in the arena but must follow the safety protocols outlined in the Rebound Plan . Thanks to those who have reached out to full-fill some of these rolls, but we are still in need of more volunteers. If you are able to volunteer, please use the link at the bottom of this email to access the interactive spreadsheet and add your name where you are able to.

Players can begin arriving 20 minutes prior to their scheduled time, and it is recommended that they come dressed, or partially dressed, including skates tied, if they are unable to do these by themselves. Masks must be worn inside the arena at all times, unless players are on the ice. Respect social distancing when possible.
