Thank you U9 families, especially our volunteers, for a successful season start up this weekend!

**Changes made, players from original groups 4 and 5 are now added to the other 3 groups. This change was made to streamline our process with additional players opting out and the opportunity to get all sessions done on same day. Thank you for your patience**

Please see below dates, times, and groups. Parent coaches and door volunteers are also listed. Only a limited number of parent volunteers are needed for each session to ensure a smooth process. Our parent on-ice volunteers will help with line ups at stations. We have several non-U9 parent evaluators who will be present. These groups are FINAL and no change requests can be accommodated.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your ice time and check in at the door. Have your players helmet out and ready so the door check in volunteer can place an evaluation sticker ID on the front of their helmet. We ask all players to stay in their dressing rooms until the previous group is off the ice. Once your player is ready in the dressing room or on the ice please proceed to the spectator seating areas. Absolutely no standing at glass level during any of the evaluation periods.

Advancing, Intermediate, and Development Groups

Players will be divided into advancing, intermediate and development groups based on the NSST evaluations.  Groups will be announced by 11pm Saturday, October 14^th. Team rosters for the 2023-2024 year and practice weekend times (Oct 21/22) will be posted by Thursday, October 19^th.

Groups tentative first practices will be Sunday, October 15^th 10am (Advancing), 11am (Intermediate) Spryfield Lions Rink and 3pm (Development) SMU. These groups and times will be confirmed when groups are sent out Saturday after NSST’s.

All communication for U9 will be sent by email and posted on the Chebucto Minor Hockey Association Website at chebuctominorhockey.com.  Check your email and/or chebuctominorhockey.com often for updates!

Our on ice evaluation & balancing ice times begin this week at Lion’s rink!
We’d like to have all players attend, those released from competitive and those who registered for Rec C.

U11- 5pm

To all players U11, U13 and U15 who went through tryouts, please wear your tryout jersey.  All other players bring a jersey!
U18 players will be given jerseys at check-in.
