Mid Season Coaching Feedback

To all Chebucto families,

First of all, on behalf of CMHA, we hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season.

As we approach the holiday break, and hockey slows down slightly, we would like to take this opportunity to collect some feedback on how our coaches have done thus far, so we can set them up for success in the second half of the season.

There is a Google form accompanying this email that will allow you to give us your insight on our coaches. This form is completely confidential; Unless you identify yourself, coaches and board members will not know who filled these out.

We would ask parents and guardians to please fill this out if you have any feedback, good or bad, on our coaches between now and January 3, 2024. We will collect this information and then share it with coaches so that they are able to set themselves, and their teams, up for success in 2024.

50/50 Update

50/50 Update

The Chebucto 50/50 is in the works and we anticipate starting before the end of 2023.

We experienced unanticipated delays in the application process which started in October.

We realize that many families rely on these funds to reduce their registration costs.

We are working on solutions to make up for November and part of December.  One of the solutions is to extend the draw into April of 2024.

We apologize for any inconvenience and can't wait to get this going!!

Congratulations U15AA for your Tournament Win Last Weekend!

To all Chebucto families,

With the season now in full swing, teams from Chebucto are participating in tournaments across Atlantic Canada. This past weekend, our U15AA team traveled to New Brunswick to compete in the Advanced Savings Credit Union Challenge Cup hosted by the Moncton Minor Hockey Association.

After an undefeated round robin which saw them finish 1st in their pool, they defeated the Gulf Storm from PEI in the semis to advance to the finals. In an exciting, back and forth game against Pictou County, our U15AA Atlantics tied things up late, and with 15 seconds left in OT, scored to bring home the championship banner.

Congratulations to head coach Alex Sawers, his assistants, and to all the players for their efforts.

U15AA Champs

A reminder to all competitive coaches to reach out if your team wins a tournament or makes the finals.

GO CHEBUCTO GO!!!
