U15 Update

To all U15 competitive families,

 
The exhibition roster for the U15A game tomorrow evening against Sackville will be the same as the one used today in Chester, and all players and goalies still on the U15AA team list will dress for tomorrow evening's game.
 
The U15B balancing game scheduled for tomorrow evening at 5pm is being cancelled due to the fact that the U15AA and U15A rosters will not be finalized until tomorrow evening after the exhibition games in Sackville.
 
We want to ensure that we have all U15B players and goalies in this game to ensure proper team configurations and balancing, and this will not be known until final rosters are determined at U15AA and U15A.
 
We also wanted to communicate that the exhibition games last night and today for U15B were NOT being evaluated, as ALL roster decisions for player placement at the U15B level had been finished prior to these games, with the exception of team balancing, which will occur as explained above. We apologize for any confusion around this.
 
The following players have been released from U15B and will participate in rec balancing next week. Please watch for communication from Shawn Birt, VP Rec, as to when these sessions will occur.

U7 Update

Hello, Chebucto U7 Families!
 
There have been a few more additions to the group rosters as well as some player movement so please check the lists below for updates. If you don't see your player's name or you feel they've been placed incorrectly, please let me know. 
 
Players may arrive 20 minutes prior to ice times to get ready or may come dressed. We are happy to help tie skates and check equipment for proper fitting to insure comfort and safety for all players. 
 
Times are set for Sunday October 8th only and will change for the following weekend and beyond. If you have any questions, please reach out and I will do my best to assist. 
 
Thank you all so much for your patience as we balance the groups in preparation for the regular season. 
 
I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow, at the Lions Arena!

U15 Tryout Update - Take 2

To all U15 competitive families,

 

Due to scheduling conflict, the U15AA game tomorrow will now start at 5:30pm, not the 6pm that was originally sent out. 

 

Also, the following U15B roster will play in an exhibition game tomorrow at 7:30pm at the East Coast Varsity Arena in Dartmouth against Sackville. All players should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the game and bring their tryout jerseys.

 

U15B Exhibition Game 1

 

On Saturday, October 7, the following U15B roster will play an exhibition game at 4pm at the Lion's Rink against Sackville. All players should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the game and bring their tryout jerseys.

U15B Exhibition Game 2 

 

 

On Sunday, October 8, there will be a U15B balancing game at 5pm at the Lion's Rink. Rosters for this game will be sent out Sunday, October 8 no later than 9am.

 

A reminder to a previous email that there is a U15A exhibition game on Saturday, October 7 at 4:30pm in Chester. The Eleanor Pew Memorial Arena is located at 190 Pig Loop Road in Chester.

 

Finally, there will be a U15A exhibition game on Sunday, October 8 at 7pm and a U15AA exhibition game on Sunday, October 8 at 5:30pm. Both of these games will be against Sackville and take place at the Sackville Arena. Rosters for these games will be released no later than 11pm on Saturday, October 7.

U13 Final Configuration AAA-AA-B-B

To all U13 competitive families,

 
First of all, the evaluation committee would like to thank all players and parents for their patience as we worked to determine the final configurations for all teams across U13 competitive. This was not a decision that we took lightly, and we wanted to make sure we looked at all possible factors before arriving at a final decision.
 
Those players who were on last Sunday's exhibition rosters for U13A and U13B will be participating in a U13B balancing game on Sunday, October 8 at 6pm at the Lion's Rink to enable us to build two balanced U13B teams for the 2023/24 season. Players, please make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before and bring your tryout jersey. Rosters for this game will be available when players arrive.
